Not to dangle shiny things in front of you...

But my friend Janis just told me about these Mach 1 Spinning Wheels from SpinOlution and they seem damn cool. Videos, photos, and vital stats at that link. I like using traditional tools and all, but I also like it when they are upgraded for efficiency and power

So, have you gotten a chance to spin on it? How does it spin?

I looked at this, and I am intrigued. But I want to try this or at least talk to someone who has tried it before I get too interested.

Alas, no. But from watching the videos it's definitely something I would seek out to test spin were I in the market for a new wheel. (And if I ever do spin one, I will certainly report back!)

That is so beautiful! I won't be going off cheating on my Baynes single treadle, but wow, this is pretty.
