Love U.K. knit and crochet mags but hate the price?
![]() After taking into account that the U.S. dollar is worth less than the British pound and then adding the cost of importing, buying a British craft mag can get expensive to the tune of ~$10/issue. U.S. AntiCrafter fans of YARN forward or the new Inside Crochet will be happy (in a jaded and cynical way, of course) to know they have heard your cries for electronic (and therefore, cheaper) copies. YARN forward online issue preview | buy or subscribe to electronic issues Inside Crochet online issue preview | buy or subscribe to electronic issues Edited to add a hint from Shannon: "I find, on my Mac, that going to the 'Thumbnails' section and navigating to there is easiest, since in the preview, not all pages are available, and that way you can also see the 'greyed out' pages." I'm a Mac user as well, and this worked for me. Labels: knitgrrl, print mags, U.K., zabet Mar 13, 2009
Not a Lot of Spendy for Your Thrifty
![]() Shannon Okey is selling deeply discounted, signed copies of AlterNation—$8 including s/h, but AntiCrafters only pay $6.50 with this discount code: anticraft (Remember to click "update cart" after entering the code.) Grab one while you can! "AlterNation’s subtitle is Transform. Customize. Embellish. and that’s what we hope you’ll do!
